Phonics – Year 1 and Year 2

• In Year 1 81% of children passed the Phonics Test compared to the LA average of 79.7%. (National 80%)
• 61% of eligible children (18) passed the recheck in Year 2 compared to the LA average of 49.6%. (National 50%)
• 92% pupils at the end of Year 2 met the required standard compared to the LA Average of 90.1%. (National 89%)

Year 4 - Multiplication Tables Check

• In Year 4 54% of children achieved full marks (25 out of 25) in the check compared to the LA  Average of 41.7%. (National 38%).
• The average score was 22.5 compared to the LA Average score of 21.3. (National 21.1)
